i really enjoyed photographing this lovely 6 year old.

we had such a fun time frolicking in the forest.

(well worth the stench of dog poop on BOTH of my boots)

sully’s best pals are the instagram sensations gus and travis of @ifitwags

they normally see each other daily, but recently it’s been less so,  because of a medical situation with poor Sully.

today they came over for a bit.. they just hung around, played and slept.

they really enjoy each other.. it’s an easy friendship.

no drama. only love.

i shoot a lot of “sofa sessions”.

simple, clean lines, white wall, dark brown sofa.. very modern.

my clients typically sit, stand or lie ON the sofa.

but not always.

this is Baxter,  a smooth fox terrier.

he was rescued a few years ago.

he now lives in a penthouse apartment in the sky.

he won the jackpot.

there is such a special bond between cousins.

these two are no exception.

they seem to be planning world domination.. or a cookie caper of sorts.

i do lOvE photographing kids and dogs most of all.. but it’s fun to branch out too.. it keeps me on my toes.
